That's not what his former players say. And his players graduated. I played for a very tough coach in high school in a very tough and competitive conference who used to go to Coach Knight's summer basketball camp at West Point when he was the coach there in his mid 20s. And my coach made us the best conditioned team in our conference. My high school coach died just two months ago and even though he pushed us to the brink in high school we loved him, and he us. Losers who never played criticize and whine and murmur in little groups. Winners suck it up and man up when the going gets tough. That's what my coach taught me/us and it was the Knight way. I'm near 70 now and the guys I played with 50 plus years ago are still tight. That is what tough leaders instill too.
